I recently had the opportunity to unwind at Maafushi Lodge, and overall, it was a peaceful retreat. The environment was refreshingly calm, perfect for those in need of some relaxation. The onsite spa offered a few treatments that were a nice touch during my stay. Each morning brought a diverse breakfast menu, which kept things interesting. The staff were friendly; I had the pleasure of connecting with Rakeeb, who guided us around the island and shared stories during our evenings together. He certainly contributed to a cozy atmosphere. As a Maldivian travel consultant, I appreciated the lodge’s homely feel. It’s not a hotel in the luxury sense, but it accommodates all the essentials—notably clean rooms and an attentive manager. The shuttle service made airport transfers hassle-free, which is always a plus. For anyone seeking a less commercial, more tranquil experience, Maafushi Lodge might just be what you’re looking for. They can accommodate families too, as I noticed with my little one. Would I stay again? Perhaps, for a quiet getaway.
